According to @SamsungMobileUS, the official twitter account of Samsung Mobile USA, the new version of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is only a few days away! Another tweet also revealed that the original Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 3.0, but now it will have Honeycomb’s latest version – Android 3.1.

Samsung’s latest 10.1 inches tablet sports a 1 GHz dual-core processor, a large 10.1 inches, 1280 x 800 pixel HD screen, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, built-in surround stereo sound, a battery life of up to 10 hours and this tablet only weighs 1.3 pounds and have a thinness of 0.34 inch – thinner than the iPad 2.

The release of Apple’s iPad 2 made Samsung to replace their first version of Galaxy Tab 10.1 to compete with the former.
